EXPLORE THE HISTORY OF TRASH
The Trash Museum is dedicated to acquiring, preserving, and exhibiting discarded material goods that reflect the unique history of American consumption and waste production. Join us in promoting conversations on waste management and the impact it has on our environment.
UPCOMING EXHIBITS
As a part of receiving the Museums for America grant, the Trash Museum will be creating four new outreach programs starting in 2024. The programs will be rotating quarterly and you can read more about each one below!

Memory Lane Special Exhibit
Take a trip down memory lane with the Trash Museum's special exhibit that's been hand-curated to revisit the 50s, 60s, and 70s by looking at what was left behind by these generations, i.e., their trash!

Trash Museum Traveling Sampler
This traveling exhibit will be partnering with local schools to aid in the education of environmental issues as they relate to the collections and overall mission of the Trash Museum

Conversational Courses
Spend an evening deep-diving into the history, impact, and current life of individual objects in the museum, directly with and from the Trash Museum's curator in a casual setting!

Create Your Own Trash Exhibit
In this program, children will be able to sort through items that may one day become part of the Trash Museum's galleries to curate their own exhibits with their families!
