Project-Based Volunteer at the Cooch's Bridge Historic Site 

At Cooch’s Bridge Historic Site, I co-designed an interactive educational program aimed at young students (grades 2–4) to compensate for the site's physical inaccessibility during renovations. Developed in collaboration with a fellow student, the program featured portable learning materials, hands-on activities, and multimedia components, all aligned with state educational standards. I conducted comparative research into outreach strategies used by similar historic sites and tailored our materials to reflect best practices in distance learning and mobile interpretation. The final project was presented to site stakeholders and representatives from the Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs, receiving positive feedback for its educational value and adaptability. This initiative highlighted the importance of accessibility and innovation in public history work.
